Protests Planned Outside Justice Thomas’ Home

President urges “peaceful, peaceful, peaceful” protesting.

The Virginia home of Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife Ginni will be the site of several groups of pro-abortion activists protesting Friday evening. It is just one of many announced and unannounced demonstrations that follow the Supreme Court decision that overturns Roe v. Wade

Flyers from groups like Jane’s Revenge, Ruth Sent Us, Our Rights D.C., and Shut Down D.C. are a part of the movement of those who are set to continue protesting throughout the weekend at the homes of each of the Justices who voted to overturn the law that legalized abortion.

In televised remarks on Friday, President Joe Biden urged protesters opposing the ruling to remain peaceful.

“First, I call on everyone no matter how deeply they care about this decision to keep all protests peaceful. Peaceful, peaceful, peaceful,” President Biden said. “No intimidation. Violence is never acceptable. Threats and intimidation are not speech. We must stand against violence in any form, regardless of your rationale.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For safety for every Supreme Court justice as protestors react to the ruling in the abortion case.
  • For law enforcement to be successful in preventing violence and vandalism.
  • For the justices of the Supreme Court who are threatened to turn to the Lord for refuge.
